PARTICIPATION IN INTERNATIONAL DATA PRIVACY FRAMEWORKS

LeadCheck LLC complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce.

LeadCheck has certified that it adheres to the DPF Principles regarding the processing of personal data received from the EU, UK, and Switzerland. If there is a conflict between this Privacy Policy and the DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern.

EU/UK/Swiss individuals may request access, correction, deletion, or limitation of their personal data by contacting support@leadcheck.co. LeadCheck remains responsible under the DPF for third parties that process personal data on our behalf.

HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

How to submit a request:

Email us at privacy@leadcheck.co with your full name, California address, and email. We may require additional verification and use a two-step process for deletion requests.

Authorized Agents: If you use an agent, they must provide proof of signed permission, and you may need to verify your identity directly with us.

Updates: This section may be revised as California regulations evolve.

SECURITY

We use encryption, firewalls, access controls, and monitoring to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure. If a data breach occurs that materially affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information as long as necessary for Services, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. Uploaded lead data may be encrypted and stored for up to 30 days unless manually deleted sooner.

CROSS-BORDER TRANSFERS

The Site and Services are operated in the United States. Data transfers from the EU/UK/Switzerland are covered by DPF compliance and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). By using our Services, you consent to international data transfers.

DISPUTES & ENFORCEMENT

LeadCheck is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Unresolved Data Privacy Framework complaints may be submitted to BBB National Programs: https://www.bbbprograms.org/dpf-complaints. Binding arbitration may be available as a last resort.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site or Services indicates acceptance of the revised version.

ACCESSIBILITY
